The white Lotus Esprit is one of the famous James Bond Cars know
affectionately as 'Wet Nellie'. It is seen in 1977's The Spy
Who Loved Me. This was a Q-branch car, the first time they used
a Lotus. This car was filled with a lot of extras, but it is perhaps
most famous for being to be used as an underwater submarine.
Six different 'Shells' & 'Models' were used to perform the
Land to Sea transformation, and a empty shell with a diver in a
wetsuit acted underwater. Today one of these six vehicles is owned
by 'The Ian Fleming Foundation'.
